STRESS

... But if you’re having trouble managing your stress, and find that it’s impacting your quality of life and ability to function, therapy may help.

Short-term stress is common for most people. But when you can’t return to a relaxed, calm state,

the prolonged changes in your body – including increased heart rate, higher blood pressure, and muscle tension – can lead to mental and physical exhaustion, illness, and diminished functioning.

Stress in Relationships

Relationships can be difficult, even under the best of circumstances.

When you feel like you've hit a wall, you don't feel heard, or the relationship seems one-sided, or even hurtful emotionally, psychologically or physically, or financially, therapy may be helpful to unpack and better understand that.

I work with individuals who want to better understand what they want from their intimate partner, and how they want to be treated.

We can talk about your personal values and how they show up in your relationship, and if they are being shared and respected with your partner. We can talk directly about any concerns you have and where bad behavior (yours or theirs) ends and abuse begins.
